We’ve only just found out that Hadal is coming into our lives, but it already feels like he’s meant to be part of our family. In less than two weeks, this little black Affenpinscher will officially be joining us, and we couldn’t be more excited (or busy) as we prepare for his arrival.

From the moment we knew Hadal would be ours, everything shifted into high gear. We’re gathering all the essentials—his bed, dishes, and other necessities—to make sure he has everything he needs for a smooth transition. We don’t know all of his quirks yet, but we’re already imagining how he’ll claim his favorite spots, sniff out the best hiding places, and fill our home with joy.

There’s a lot to do, but it’s the best kind of busy. Preparing for Hadal feels like preparing for a new chapter in our lives. As we count down the days, we’re dreaming of the moment we bring him home—when his journey truly begins and our story together unfolds.
